It was a great night out at Auckland’s Powerstation last night - it was my first time shooting there since before lockdowns, so I good 3-4 years.

Read MoreWhat a way to start the year off but with non-other than **Labretta Suede and The Motel 6** for some dirty sleazy rock'n'roll, initially I thought I'd missed their current crop of shows due to being out of town over the break, but then I heard of one final show at Auckland's **The Mothership**, this was one I was not wanting to miss – doctors resting orders or not!
The night opened with fellow Auckland act **Dead Model** – fun punky rock that fit the vibe of the evening before Labretta and gang picked up the pace with their distinctive, rebellious rockabilly tones – always a pleasure, always a site to see, and always great to capture.
