The Fete of Real Groovy
To start the year off I caught "The Fete of Real Groovy", a celebration of the one of Aucklands' longest running music stores new home - the old Salvation Army Congress Hall complex with a eclectic range of artists performing on the forecourt. I only managed to catch a few of the acts but what I did catch was highly enjoyable.
Rackets
Racket's are always a joy to watch - full of energy and an ability to rotate band members between instruments seemingly mid song without anyone noticing.
LarzRanda
LarzRanda's a unique artistic entity - and that's all I'll say here.
Tom Tom The Clown
Catching up with an old friend - the ever friendly Tom Tom The Clown was an unexpected highlight of the day as I'd never actually seen "The Clown" in action.
