There’s nothing like the feeling of returning home for Christmas - and invariably for me - that almost means returning “home” to one of New Zealand’s longest running, and best live music venues - The Cabana down here in Napier.
What makes this even better is the magically timed yearly Christmas Gathering show for Hawkes Bay based, post-rock outfit Jakob - this year joined by locals Devil’s Elbow, and Hamilton based Arc of Ascent - a triple bill of bands I know and love well - sounds like a recipe for a ripper of a shindig!
