Smash Fest 2020, Gisborne on January 10-11 2020

Once again this year saw us heading over to Smash Palace Gisborne over on the east coast of New Zealand for the annual heavy metal festival SmashFest (see 2018 and 2019’s photos) featuring some of New Zealands best underground/unsigned metal bands along with Australian headliners Temtris.

Standout acts this year for me were Wellington’s Stalker - with a killer 80s speed/thrash vibe, Auckland’s Shepherd’s Reign and Malevolence, as well as Australian visitors Temtris.
